With her new visual identity, the Lagoon 40 immediately stands out. A new generation of Lagoon, recognisable at first sight by the chamfer running from bow to stern.
A symbol of the new generation Lagoons, the 40 performance features includes an increased sail area that provides a better sail surface area / displacement ratio. The decision to position the mast step further aft, provides this catamaran with multiple advantages:
– A self-tacking jib for simplified manoeuvres.
– A shorter boom for ease of manoeuvring.
– A main sail, with a high aspect ratio, enabling the capture of better airflow in the upper parts of the sail for optimised performance.
– The re-centring of weight, thanks to aft positioning of rigging, considerably reduces pitching.
A comfortable cockpit looks out to sea with the dining table slight offset to port, a recreation area on the same side and seating at the rear beam. An ergonomic helm station accessible from the cockpit or deck, enables communication between the skipper and crew at all times. Large aft transoms with a spacious swim platform, allowing simple access to the tender and safe, easy boarding. A forward cockpit, fitted with a sunbathing area, provides further exterior living space.
Inside the salon/galley is very similar to the Lagoon 39’s interior layout with the panoramic windows flooding the area with natural light. Also large hull windows with integrated portholes in the cabins provide exceptional natural light and an outstanding view.
She is going to be a popular choice, check her availability below and be sure to snap her up for your next BVI cruise.

The Open 46 was designed by one of France’s most renowned designers, Marc Lombard, who has an enviable record for designing top long-distance racing yachts and well as some of his country’s most popular cruising boats.
This is a boat that offers a generous amount of space, equivalent to a respectably-sized apartment, and uses that space in a flexible manner. Sliding doors in the main saloon open entirely to the aft cockpit making it feel luxurious and spacious. Leather upholstery and upgraded finishes complete the feeling of upscale, modern comfort. In the large galley there is an additional Fridge and freezer unit. Throughout the boat there is an impressive volume of easily-accessed storage space, as well as ample room to move around without getting in the way of other people. Four en-suite staterooms with excellent natural light and ventilation will provide accommodation for up to eight guests. The four suites share two full-sized showers which creates far more space in the heads than typically four-cabin boats. The adjoining doors can be locked from both sides to ensure privacy. A single crew berth in the port v-berth provides accommodation for an additional crew member or hired captain.
“Susie Sea” has twin helms, one at the aft end of each hull, to allow for greater visibility when docking on either side. The working lines are run aft inboard of the helm. Directions to crew members assisting with lines can be communicated clearly as your position is more sheltered compared to the more common raised/flybridge helms. While the main socializing areas are at the back of the boat, plenty of cushioned lounging and sunbathing opportunities are found forward on the safety net. Each area has shade – a hardtop bimini aft and a removable sun shade forward.
The designers and builders have worked hard to keep weight to a minimum which helps to keep passage speeds up to good levels. This is certainly a design that in the right conditions ought to reach fast sailing speeds down the Channel and elsewhere. Be prepared to pass other boats often when sailing! Engine power is from the upgraded 50hp Volvo Penta diesels and all on-board electronics are state-of-the-art with B&G Nav screens at both Helms plus large 12” Screen at Nav station.

Sea Tiger has been appointed with 4 double cabins and a single berth, port forward, to accommodate a maximum of nine guests. All double cabins are air conditioned along with the salon.
As on all of Lagoon’s new-generation catamarans, the decision to position the mast step further aft, provides the 46 with multiple advantages:
– Bringing the mast further aft reduces the length of the boom, increases the mainsail aspect ratio and thus its efficiency.
– Centering the masses limits pitching and eases the boat’s motion.
– The reduced size of the boom facilitates handling.
– The large jib sail is self-tacking, so there is no need to touch anything when tacking!
With a forward cockpit offering another view of the horizon. The sun pads are equipped with adjustable backrests and accompanied by a low table to enjoy this space under all circumstances.
The cockpit and salon on the 46 has been designed as a true living space and flow into one another seamlessly on the same level. Wide transom platforms allow an ease to boarding from a dock and optimize usability when at anchor or on a mooring.
The refined interior is elegantly illuminated and both her forward cabins are identical in size to the aft cabins creating less deliberation between crew mates!
Snap up a booking on Sea Tiger quick! We are sure she is going to be a popular yacht within our fleet.
